Our firm began in 1974 when Mr. William H. Bennett Sr. decided to leave the partnership with Deloitte , at that time a big six CPA firm, and start his own public accounting company. That was 45 years ago and we have grown and changed into BHG CPAs and Advisors, a local CPA firm providing a diverse scope of services to our clients. We serve a variety of nonprofit organizations with a broad range of accounting and reporting requirements. Our clients range in size from small family owned business to large multi-state organizations. The types of services performed include tax, accounting systems review, computer consulting, strategic planning, business evaluations, financial and estate planning.

Our Qualifications

We are a locally owned CPA firm. We are members of the Kentucky Society of CPAs, as well as, members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Our firm is structured to provide for close, one-on-one personalized service to our clients. We have a client-service and results oriented philosophy. Because of low personnel turnover, our firm assures you of excellent continuity and the availability of personnel familiar with your organization at all times. We want to know what is going on in your company and we have a much lower partner-to-staff ratio than international accounting firms and provide an environment where we work closely with the management of our clients.

All of our CPAs and staff are required to spend a minimum of 40 hours each year on their professional education. We participate in courses sponsored by the Kentucky Society of CPAs and other professional organizations.
